Refund Policy

1. Free plan

The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card, so you can try ZebChat before you pay.

2. Billing and renewals

Paid plans are billed in advance for a month or a year, through Stripe (cards) or PayPal, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Invoices are available under Billing in the dashboard.

3. Cancelling

Owners can cancel at any time under Billing in the dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges. Depending on the payment method, your plan either stays active until the end of the period you have paid for or ends right away; your organization then moves to the Free plan and its limits apply. Your conversations and settings are kept, subject to your retention settings.

4. Refunds

Payments are not refundable, and we do not refund unused parts of a billing period, except in these cases:

• you were charged twice or charged in error: we refund the incorrect amount;
• the Service was unavailable for a long period because of a fault on our side: contact us and we will look at a credit or refund;
• where the law gives you a right to a refund.

To ask for a refund, email [email protected] from an owner’s address within 30 days of the charge, with the invoice number. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.

5. Plan changes

When you upgrade or downgrade, the payment provider calculates any proration and shows it before you confirm; credits are applied to future invoices rather than paid out. Some changes through PayPal need your approval at PayPal.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps working during a grace period while the payment provider retries. Update your payment details under Billing. If payment still fails at the end of the grace period, your organization moves to the Free plan.

7. Enterprise

Enterprise plans are billed under the terms of your order form or contract, which take precedence over this policy.
